Y’all realise how real Robyn is, right? She’s kinda like that friend you would have in high school that’s super eccentric and kind of embarrassing. She takes everything way too hard and is seen as super “artsy” and doesn’t even give a fuck whether she had to express it in the middle of the hallways or at your small town’s only bar or whatever. She wears odd mismatched clothes and has the haircut of a 12-year-old boy in the 1970s and thinks she looks great - and you would never admit it, but she kind of does. You pretend to shy away from her when your other, more “normal” friends talk about her but secretly you’re in absolute fucking awe that a person knows themselves so well, is so unashamed to say all the shit you think and feel in your own head and heart all the time but don’t have the balls to say out loud. And while you feel vaguely repressed at not being able to grab freedom the way she has, you certainly feel like you’ve got it - even for just a few minutes - when she sings.
